It's been a long time.

I have had some really great passenger experiences lately.
Last week I was meeting a plane from Calgary, Alberta Canada. It's always fun to meet the Calgary flight or as we say in the airline biz...(YYC bird). Well there was a passenger on the flt that requested a wheelchair. Part of my job is to make sure that the wheelchair is there and someone to help passenger to their next destination. Most of the time I'm delegating to 16 year olds but sometimes I delegate to myself. This was one of those times.
Well the passenger was stopping their travel in SLC and traveling with her daughter and son-in-law. I get her situated in the chair and to escorte them inside. As we're walking I'm making small talk.
"What takes you to SLC?" A niece is getting married.
"Do you live in YYC proper or outside?" They were in YYC proper. But son-in-law immigrated to Pincher Creek from Britain.
"No kidding! My husband grew up in Pincher Creek. " What's the name... "Jensen" Well there are a lot of Jensens. "Boy do I know it. His parents now live in Lethbridge." What are his parents name? "Gary and Sharon." Gary Jensen??? the cattleman? "Yep. That's him." Everyone knows Gary Jensen the cattleman.
After that a little 16 year old came and took them the rest of the way.
I didn't know I was marrying into a famous family.
Today, a very nice lady said that I looked like one of her daughters friends and they call her Peaches because she is so bubbly.
