I'm very excited for tomorrow.
I'm meeting Janelle downtown for some Christmas shopping. I'm taking the train down, and Nell will pick me up. I love spending time with my sisters!

The New Moon movie.
I took last Friday night off because I went to see New Moon with a bunch of friends from work.
One of my friends bought out an entire theater and then sold the tickets and made a huge party of it. I got 2 tickets and Kyle and I showed up at the theater at 6pm for the 701 showing. We finally got to go inside the theater at 630 and then the fun began. There was a New Moon trivia. I won a set of Twilight buttons. The question was "What color were Edwards eyes when he was a human?"
Then there was a raffle. I got the New Moon soundtrack for helping yell out the numbers, because I can yell over the propellers engine at the airport and passengers can hear me.
So then the movie finally started and everyone was so excited and was yelling and clapping then... a couple of ya-hoos started taking pictures. Two minutes into the movie is stops and the manager comes to the front and says that taking pictures is a Federal offense. Then some other ya-hoo yells out "Your a Federal Offense!" People around him start shushing him and shoving him to be quiet. The manager says if it continues the movie will be turned off.
The movie begins again and no other incidences. But it was lots of fun.
I thought they stayed much more on story than Twilight. And the effects were better! Just goes to show what they can do with a budget.
I'm looking forward to seeing it with my sisters on Tuesday.
Go TEAM EDWARD!

The tripthat wasn't.
So I stayed home and slept a lot. I feel a lot better. I also crafted a lot this weekend. I made 7 new lanyards and recycled grocery bags into a crocheted bag that is very sturdy.

Sunday.
We get to church and we have primary first and I'm sitting with my kids and wow, everyone is really noisy today. I think they had too much sugar cereal. Then it's singing time and the light is getting brighter and the kids are getting louder and louder... do you see where I'm going?
Now it's time for class and I get up and I'm dizzy and a little nauseous. We go into our room and the light is off but it's still too bright. Kyle comes to me and says what's wrong. "I'm getting a migraine." Kyle gives me the keys to the car and then I remember that I have my own. Somehow I make it home. I'm wearing my sunglasses in the house it's just too bright. I take some benidryl because it makes me sleepy and some ibuprofen. I get a cold wet wash cloth and climb into bed.
I woke up 2 1/2 hrs later. Kyle is home from church. I have supper, then sleep for another 3 or 4 hours. Then re medicate and slept for about 10 hrs.
I feel better now. Just a fringe of a headache but at least I can see again.

I am so scared!
The cool thing about being a time lord is that if the actors contract is up, well he just morphs into a new actor, but the actor is the same Doctor Who. He looks totally different but has all the same memories and he is always referred to as the Doctor.
Here is the current Doctor.
Normally the scary level of Doctor Who is about Star Trek the Next Gen.
But tonight... it was X-Files.
I kept seeing the creepy villains while I was trying to sleep about an hour later. So now I'm listening to my Primary CD and feel better.
But I still love the Doctor.

Holy smokes!
I see his picture and gasp loudly... "That's Mr. Cody!" So of course I stay tuned and sure enough it's Mr. John Cody that taught me Social Studies in High School.
I'd forgotten all about him like most of my high school days and teachers, but seeing his picture brought back ookie feelings about his class.

An Update
A couple of days ago I came home from work and on our doorstep was a loaf of home made wheat bread. There was a note saying, "Tiffani and Kyle, Just want you to know someone is thinking of you and that you are loved! Have a great day! :)"
We got hit by a bread bandit! I love the idea so much on Monday I'm going to make cinnamon rolls and spread the bread around.
One sad bit... I applied for a different job at work and got a very nice thank you but no email. I didn't even make it to an interview which leads me to believe there was some insider trading going on. But oh well... The Lord is at the helm. I just have to keep moving my feet and He will direct me. (Thanks Mom)

Stress...
As I was reading "If Life Were Easy, It Wouldn't Be Hard" by Sheri Dew; I came upon a quote that I had forgotten from my American History days. It's a great rally together your courage quote:
"Theses are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country, but he that stands it now deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly."

Wise words.
ONE: Snoop Dogg.. that's right THEEE Snoop Dogg flew out to Vancouver. He is a lot taller than I thought, but not as tall as Spence and Jay. But he weighs about a buck-twenty... soaking wet.
His entourage surrounded him at all times. One was dressed in baggy shorts, and t-shirt look, another in a tan tartan suit and the last was dressed in yellow like a big banana.
The thing that impressed me most about Snoop is that he never had to say a word. He looked out of the side of his face to a pose and things happened. It was cool. But he was very nice, chill, layed back and polite. Not the gansta I was expecting.
TWO: I had a fortune cookie this week and this was my fortune "A good position and a comfortable salary will be yours."
I like that.

Trip to Casper.
Kar and Mom picked me up around noon then we got Nell and off we went on a cross country road trip to Casper, WY. Really is was Alcova Lake.
The motel was.... clean.
The ceremony was lovely and the bride was beautiful. The groom giddy. Food, tasty.
Here are some pics.
The Happy Couple... Jackie and Chuck.
It was really funny, he lost the ring somewhere in there... it took a couple of minutes to find it. I think Chuck was starting to sweat a bit about it.
Waiting for the bride.
Gracie, Katie, Jackie, Chuck, Bo-Bo the baby of the family, Colton and Carl.
It was a really lovely day.
Nell waiting for the party to start.
The best part is we got to spend a lot of time together.

Back home.
When I got back home I had a great big surprise from Kyle. He shaved off his beard! Now he has a little handle bar mustache and "sole patch". I like seeing his handsome face again.

Picture from our trip.
They had a real X-Wing fighter jet from Star Wars that was used in the movie. R2-D2 is seen here.
There were all theses tiny models next to the big ones. They have little petal airplanes the kids can play with from 10am til 2pm. When we got there there was a cute sign that read, "Shhh, The airplanes are sleeping."
Cut out plane... I think it was meant only for the little kids. Our faces didn't show up very well.
A replica of a jet engine used on a rocket that takes the Space Shuttle to space. Kyle loved that

It was a busy day.
First of all... I had to get up at 7:30 (on my day off), that was not a good beginning. Well I slap on my yoga clothes because they are comfortable and easy to wash. Put my hair in a pony tail and a bandanna and off I go to bishop's house for assignments and donuts.
I was paired up with the RS president and we go to a sister's house who needs help cleaning off the back porch. We got there at there were about 10 other people there hauling... stuff.
I think leaves, but no. It was 3 or 4 beds that have been left out all winter long and were dripping with water. Very heavy. couches that had the stuffing torn out of them from the dog. bags upon bags upon bags of I don't know what but very heavy. Someone had a chain saw and took down several truck loads of branches. It was a lot of work. After we were done I was very thirsty, but no rest for the weary.
Next was on to another sister's house and de-grassed her raspberry plants. That took about 1 1/2 hrs. After that I went back to headquarters but all the jobs were assigned and the only thing left was the chipper but there were 15 people helping with that so I walked home had about 6 glasses of water, took a hot hot HOT shower and slept for about 2 hrs.
It was a hard day, but I think I will do it again next year.

It's been a long time.
Last week I was meeting a plane from Calgary, Alberta Canada. It's always fun to meet the Calgary flight or as we say in the airline biz...(YYC bird). Well there was a passenger on the flt that requested a wheelchair. Part of my job is to make sure that the wheelchair is there and someone to help passenger to their next destination. Most of the time I'm delegating to 16 year olds but sometimes I delegate to myself. This was one of those times.
Well the passenger was stopping their travel in SLC and traveling with her daughter and son-in-law. I get her situated in the chair and to escorte them inside. As we're walking I'm making small talk.
"What takes you to SLC?" A niece is getting married.
"Do you live in YYC proper or outside?" They were in YYC proper. But son-in-law immigrated to Pincher Creek from Britain.
"No kidding! My husband grew up in Pincher Creek. " What's the name... "Jensen" Well there are a lot of Jensens. "Boy do I know it. His parents now live in Lethbridge." What are his parents name? "Gary and Sharon." Gary Jensen??? the cattleman? "Yep. That's him." Everyone knows Gary Jensen the cattleman.
After that a little 16 year old came and took them the rest of the way.
I didn't know I was marrying into a famous family.
Today, a very nice lady said that I looked like one of her daughters friends and they call her Peaches because she is so bubbly.

Photo tag.
1. Go to your picture folder on your computer or wherever you store your pictures.
2. Go to your 6th folder and then choose the 6th picture.
3. Post it on your blog and then tell the story that goes with the picture.
4. Tag 6 other lucky people to do the same thing and leave a comment on their blog telling them about it.
This was the inside of Jay's car after he and Sarah got married. What wonderful memories. I think Jay is still finding silly string in his Bronco.
Good times.

Kyle is brave.
He was such a brave little trouper. I held his hand the whole time and the hygienist was very kind and used a new type of sonic scaler... the little hook thing that they scrape your teeth with. Well with the sonic scaler it vibrates the plaque off and water to rinse it away so you use the hook only for extra stubborn plaque.
The best news was Kyle had no cavities so we don't need to go back for another 6 months. He was such a champ, after we finished we went for vanilla milk shakes.
He even did a fluoride treatment. But they use foam now not the yucky trays with the gel that did NOT taste like bubble gum. It was a minty taste and very easy to apply.

Happy Birthday KYLE!
Friday night my sister Karla and her family hosted a wonderful BBQ of hamburgers and hot dogs. It was perfect. The also got Kyle his favorite cake ever! A cookies and cream ice cream cake from DQ. Little Spencer picked out some orange chocolates for Kyle's present.
Spencer is showing us his train. He is so smart and getting a great vocabulary.
Everyone loves balloons.
Kyle just likes to wash our car.
For Kyle's big bash present I got him some flight time with a friend of mine who is an instructor. We were all set to fly on Sat. afternoon, we showed up at the Bountiful airport only to be greeted by 25-30 mph wind gusts. There was no flying to be had that day. My friend showed up and said it was just to windy to be flying. So they exchanged emails and will schedule for another Sat sometime when the air is calm.
As we were leaving the airport I was rubbing my eyes because they got a lot of dirt in them, when 1 car in front of us was cut off and t-boned a 4 door F-150. I had my glasses off and all I saw was a truck flying through the air and what I found out later was a tire zooming off in the opposite direction.
Kyle pulled to the side of the road, and I called 911. Gave them our location. The truck was turning and took the turn too fast that caused the car in front of us a 4 door sedan to t-bone it and flip it into the air. While I was still on the phone with 911 a Highway Patrol officer came on the scene. He was just cruising the area and said that the accident hadn't made it over the radio yet. Emergency crews were there within 5 min. The truck had a man in mid 20's driving with what looked like a 3 year old that he pulled out. They appeared to be okay. The driver of the sedan appeared to have a hurt arm. The paramedics were putting it in a sling as we drove away after Kyle gave his statement.
Everything is good with our lives. This week we are back on the wagon.

Yummy dinner.
5 frozen Chicken breasts
1 can chicken broth
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 package Italian dressing mix
1/2 package cream cheese.
spray the crock pot with Pam. Add Frozen Chicken. Mix broth, soup and dressing mix in large bowl (I did it in my big measuring cup). Pour over frozen chicken. Turn on High for about 1 hr. I turned it to Low just before we went to church. When we came home it smelled so good. I added the cream cheese then and stirred it up good. I served it over fetichinni noodles and a salad. Very Very tasty and easy.

Blessings
(If it's too long to read I'll sum up at the bottom)
Dear SkyWest Employees:
A few weeks ago we shared with you news that Delta and SkyWest were conducting a review of our Salt Lake City hub ground operations, with the intent to increase efficiencies for the combined DL/DLC operation. After extensive work with our partner and our leadership at Salt Lake City, it has been determined that SkyWest will retain all ground operations at the E concourse, while all ground operations at the B concourse will transition to Delta mainline on May 15.
While we do not know the exact number, it’s estimated that approximately 300 employees may be affected by a change in status, and that makes this news most difficult to communicate. The transition will result in a three-year furlough for a number of our SLC team. SkyWest leadership will be meeting with these affected groups to explain their options in detail, and SkyWest will do everything we can to support them through the transition.
It is important to note that this was not a quality-driven decision. We are all aware of the economic climate and the health of our industry, and Delta is looking for almost $2 B in synergies as they complete their merger with Northwest. This SLC transition is meant to deliver part of the efficiencies they seek, and while these changes are difficult for us, a healthy partner is best for SkyWest and our people over the long term.
Delta initially looked at transitioning all of our Salt Lake City ground handling to mainline, and thanks to the solid product provided by our people there, as well as the round-the-clock work of our SLC leadership team, we were able to retain 75% of our SLC ground operation.
Many of you have asked what this and other recent changes at our Delta Connection stations mean about our partnership with Delta. Let me reaffirm that SkyWest remains a strong Delta Connection carrier throughout the U.S. We will maintain our SLC routes, even experiencing some route increases on our summer schedules as recently announced. During a time when Delta and Northwest are evaluating every hub, a commitment to the SLC hub is positive news for SkyWest.
Still, I understand that does not change the difficulty of this ground transition for our people, and I ask for your ongoing support for those employees affected by this change. Now, more than ever, is a time to work together to ensure our customers receive a solid and efficient product. I have spoken with innumerable employees who are passionate about continuing to deliver that product, and that is why we were able to retain 75% of our SLC ground operation.
I ask for your continued commitment to quality during this transition and moving forward. Our ongoing commitment to quality service, coupled with the integrity and strength of our people and our product speak for themselves. No doubt we will remain successful as long as we maintain our focus on what we do best – providing an efficient, quality product for our passengers.
Thanks for all you do each day for our customers and each other,
What it means for me. I have a job. Unfortunately around 300 agents will be asked to furlough for an undermined length of time.
Thank you for your prayers and worries for me. We are very blessed. I am so grateful for the tender mercies of the Lord.

Valkyrie...
On the good side. The costumes were excellent. The script was decent. The story engaging. Tom Cruise's German... wonderfully executed.
On the down side. Everyone except Tom was British and had a huge! British accent. The cinematographer needed to be fired! I would guess a good 80% of the movie every one's head was cut off between the nose and the eyes. I had no clue who was who, and which side they were on. I focused on the excellent wardrobe to figure out who was speaking but it was difficult.Tom's character was caught in an explosion at the beginning of the movie which is the cause him loosing the left eye, right hand just above the wrist and the pinkie and ring fingers of the left hand. I counted at least 5 times that the right had miraculously appeared or the shadow of missing hand fell on his leg. It was a little distracting. Because I couldn't see any one's face I had to look at the gone/back again hand.I saw the "missing" fingers move a few times. I don't want to blame this one on the film, it could have been that the theater didn't have the projection right... but.. in the left hand corner there were production notes of color, scene and other gibberish. I kept looking at it thinking it would tell me where we were and the year.
In a fraught with danger office scene there is a general sitting on a desk and we are looking at him from the door's point of view... well right in the middle of screen I could see the track for the camera. I thought, "Did I just see that?" as they flashed to Tom standing at the door. Then back to the man on the desk and there was the track again. This went on a few times until finally we got the close up that was promised and the track slowly went out of view. I felt so bad for such an important part of history getting lost in all the muck.
I got so fed up with the poor workmanship of it all and I sat back and closed my eyes. I imagined myself sitting at the side of my grandparents old consul record player listening to a great radio show.Hurray for Let's Pretend.

First Five
First Five Gimme Gimme
The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! my choice. for you. this offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. what I create will be just for you.
3. it’ll be done this year. {translation: you may be waiting a little while}
4. you have no clue what it’s going to be … it may be cards, a poem, a bookmark, something yummy or a complete surprise to you (and me!) … who knows? not you, that’s for sure!
5. i reserve the right to do something extremely strange.
6. most importantly, you must offer the same deal on your blog - the first 5 people to comment on your blog (or if you do not have a blog, facebook) get something made by YOU! the first 5 people to do so and leave a comment telling me they did win a FAB-U-LOUS homemade gift by me …
Those were the rules as copied exactly from the Greek Goddess‘ blog. She added an idea. If you’re not the kind of person that wants to make something tangible for others, how about some kind of service for them, any type, any size?

Ladies, buyer beware!
It is JUNK! The brush is worthless and it is the most clumpy mascara I have ever used. It just clumped all my lases together so I had 4 really big lashes. Then it wouldn't come off.
Avoid Revlon 3D Extreme Mascara. I am now back to my Cover Girl Lash Exact and I am very happy with it. Love the rubber bristles.
And if any of you were wondering I did delete my Face Book profile out of respect for Kyle. He was very uneasy about it. It's not worth having a little contention for such a small thing.

Just sitting at work
Just an update on our life for the past week or so.
Mom and I went to San Jose to visit Jay and Sarah. It was a great weekend. I loved every second of the trip. Sarah was the perfect hostess and Jay was a great driver. It was a blast. I loved being in Sarah's primary class. It was wonderful. On the Monday before we left, they took me to the beach and Mom visited with cousin Melinda.
The beach was so enchanting. I do have pictures and will post them later.
The bummer thing that happened. The Sunday that I was gone the 18th, Kyle was having dinner at his cousin's house and someone hit and ran our car.
Arg.... no note no anything. It was very frustrating. And then the next day, Gary, Kyle's dad, fell and broke his hip. He had surgery and is doing well.
We just got our car back yesterday and it is so nice to drive our Aries again.
I am recovering from a cold that I got last week from the pollution and then spending 8hrs in a fog bank. Kyle is so good. He made tacos last night and cleaned up all the dishes while I went visiting teaching.
That's our life.

I'm on FIRE!
Yesterday I did Jillian's.
I am surprised I can still walk. My legs are still on fire. HOLY SMOKIES. DUDE. It was a great work out. AND it was only on level 1. There are 3 different levels. It is cycle training. Warm up, light cardio with weights, heavier cardio, weights, carido, weights, cardio, weights, cardio, weights cool down. It hurts. It was one of the best workouts I've ever done. Jillian is a great motivator. She's really tough but encouraging.
Today I did Bob's work out. I just knew that my legs would fall off if I tried to do Jillian's again. Bob's work out was really good. I liked it a lot. It had some of my favorite cast members working out with Bob. Alli looks really good. What I like about it is at the beginning of the DVD you set your workout. It gives you options to add to the workout: warm up, level 1, 2, 3, and cool down. I did the warm up, level 1 and cool down. It was burning really good. It wasn't as hard as Jillian. I think the perfect compliment to each other's workouts. What I didn't like is there was about 10 -20 sec blank screen while the next choice down loaded.
My legs hurt. But I want to get ready for San Diego. I hope I can get ready for it in time.

I heard a rumor.
Well I heard a rumor that Jennifer Garner, of Alias fame, was going to star in a Broadway production of Cyrano. I thought truthfully. Man... stick to action. You're really good at giving bad guys round house kicks to the face. I didn't think it would go well.
What I didn't know was that Kevin Kline was Cyrano. I just finished watching it on PBS. It was spectacular.
Christian... was cute. Kevin was as always perfection. Jennifer... was a little stiff.
I love the scene in the pub house when Cyrano gets into the fight with a Vi count somebody and composes the poem.
And I have to say the balcony scene was one of my favorites. So so so Funny!
I am looking forward to seeing it again. I cried for 10 min after the play. I used 2 tissues. It was beautiful.
I recommend it.

09 is starting fine
On the 2nd we went to the temple and had a wonderful time. Saturday the 3rd I donated platelets and we got our new licence plates for Aries.
Sunday we met our new primary class. They are 6 turning 7. We have 6 girls and 2 boys on the roll. They seem like a good bunch of kids.
Yesterday I went to exercise on the elliptical machine and it made a horrible noise and the right paddle was angled down. Upon further inspection today, the rear peg that attached to the peddle has broken half of it's sauntering. There is fine Wal-Mart craftsmanship for you. So now, I'm not sure what we're going to do about it.
But for exercise today I did my Hula for Health for 20 min and a Palates for 30 min. My tummy hurts now. But I wish I could have done some great cardio or that there was a good gym near me.
hmmmm. I think I am starting to ramble.
Cheerio
